Adequate nutrition is important to every human being, for its main objective is to keep the integrity of the body. Before and after the bariatric surgery, the patient is subject to a liquid diet for around 15 to 20 days. It’s worth mentioning that due the modifications made to your gastrointestinal tract you won’t feel any eating anxieties.
You will later start a semi-soft diet for 2 weeks, and for the next 8 weeks you will ingest a soft diet until you will gradually return to a normal diet with portions geared to your new condition.
